# MCP server

> Connect Claude, Cursor and other AI assistants to your Tapfiliate account.

The Tapfiliate MCP server lets an AI assistant read your affiliate program data and analyse it for you. Ask in plain language, for example *"Which affiliates bring traffic but no sales this month?"*, and the assistant pulls live data from your account to answer.

```
https://mcp.tapfiliate.com/mcp
```

It works with any assistant that supports the [Model Context Protocol](https://modelcontextprotocol.io) over HTTP.

## Before you start

* An admin user in your Tapfiliate account, with API access.
* Tracked activity in the account: the assistant answers from your real clicks, conversions and affiliates.
* Reports by landing page, referrer or affiliate also need the Enterprise click endpoints.

You don't need an API key. The first time the assistant uses Tapfiliate, a browser window opens where you sign in and allow access.

## Connect your assistant

  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Other clients">
    Clients that only support local servers can connect through `mcp-remote`:

    ```json theme={null}
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "tapfiliate": {
          "command": "npx",
          "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://mcp.tapfiliate.com/mcp"]
        }
      }
    }
